A super German Heer em/nco field service cap. Late-war manufactured example featuring atypical features that are rarely encountered. Late-war Italian wool. In mint unissued condition. Spliched front construction factory made. Classic « BeVo » machine stitched cockade along the front. Spliced underlay bill. Interesting yet period factory made lining to include brown « HBT » linen material and a classic light rayon silver material seen on French manufactured headgear. Nicely ink stamped with the full Rbn.Nr. 1/0450/0272 . Sized in a 57 and dated 1944. A rare and desirable M43 cap.
